Staybridge Suites Debuts in New York City's Times Square

  • Staybridge IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE: IHG] announced today that a new 310-room Staybridge Suites will open in early April in the center of Manhattan.

    The Staybridge Suites Times Square is within walking distance to the Jacob Javits Convention Center, Times Square, Broadway Theater District, Fashion District, Madison Square Garden, Central Park and a number of Fortune 500 companies.

    Designed less like a traditional hotel and more like studio apartments, each of the 310 studios in this 32-floor hotel is smartly decorated in vibrant hues and rich wood furnishings with touches such as white leather chairs and custom photography.  Each suite features Serta Perfect Sleeper® pillow top mattresses wrapped in 300 thread count luxury linen; a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, cookware and place settings; 37'' LG® flat screen televisions;  generous work space with desk-level charging stations; wireless and hard wired Internet access; speaker phones; iHome docking alarm clocks; motion sensor thermostats and much more. 

    The Staybridge Suites offers exceptional guest amenities not commonly found in New York City area hotels, including a deluxe complimentary daily breakfast buffet featuring Wolfgang Puck coffee; complimentary guest laundry and workout facilities with Cybex equipment; a complimentary 24-hour business services center; a guest library with books and games; and BridgeMart®, the hotel's 24-hour convenience store stocked with snacks, sundries, beverages and easy-to-prepare meals.  Instead of eating every meal at a restaurant, guests can request grocery shopping and delivery through the concierge.
